Through the 1820's and 1830's President Andrew Jackson and his supporters, Jacksonian Democratics viewed themselves as the guardians states Constitution, politics democracy, specific liberty, and equality of economic option. In some ways they succeeded in their goals and were powerful guardians of political democracy and equal rights of monetary opportunity. Nevertheless , in doing therefore they neglected guardianship in the constitution, and protecting specific liberties. By doing this, the Jacksonian Democrats anxious the importance of the common gentleman, even though by doing this they violate their own concepts.

Jacksonian Democrats both protected and neglected people's specific liberties.
